Organizational Ethics
Ethical conduct by an employee is an expectation for any organization. Every field and occupation are affected by ethical breaches of individuals. However, the expectation of ethical conduct for employees should be modeled by the ethical practices of the organization. If the organization does not model or support ethical actions, the ethics of individuals may be affected. For companies to expect ethical actions by its employees, it must also be ethical.
This relationship between the ethics of the individual and the ethics of the organization must be considered. Failing to recognize this ethical connection between employee and company may leave an organization rudderless in shaping the organizational culture. Promoting an ethical standard of conduct is the responsibility of all members.
